We're partnering with a well-established organization seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Operations Specialist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day financial operations, offering broad exposure across payables, receivables, and general accounting functions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, and payment execution
• Oversee accounts receivable activities, including billing, cash application, and follow-up on outstanding balances
• Perform account reconciliations and assist in maintaining accurate financial records
• Support procurement processes, including purchase order creation and approvals
• Review and distribute incoming correspondence to appropriate teams
• Process employee expenses and assist with corporate card reconciliations
• Contribute to internal and external audit preparation
• Assist with inventory counts and reporting activities
• Collaborate with internal teams on operational and administrative initiatives
• Provide support on adhoc projects and process improvements

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting support
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency with Excel and comfort working in financial systems
• Experience with ERP platforms (e.g., cloud-based systems) is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and expand skillsets
• Dependable, with consistent attendance and follow-through
• Collaborative approach with the ability to support cross-functional teams
